Seller's Comments: One of the world's most famous natural profiles was immortalized in a short story by Nathaniel Hawthorne and Daniel Webster. Also known as The Great Stone Face, it measured 48 feet from chin to forehead.  Also called the Great Stone Face or the Profile, it was located in the White Mountains in New Hampshire and is their state emblem.  Sadly, due to freezing and thawing cracks opened and despite efforts to repair the formation, it collapsed in 2003.  Candabean Collectibles is delighted to be selling New Cat's Meow items.
